| At The Strike Zone we pride ourselves on providing the best training in the state! Proper instruction and training are the two most important ingredients for becoming a successful baseball or softball player. Our staff has been hand picked by Mark Stevens, owner of The Strike Zone and assistant baseball coach at Fordham University, for their knowledge of the game and ability to communicate with the players. We guarantee that our staff of instructors will teach your son or daughter more about the game than anyone else in the business. Our Winter Program has gained a reputation for providing a workout that is second to none...and we do it at a cost that is affordable to you!!! |

| Attention Players and Parents, The Strike Zone will be offering 5 weeks of summer camps beginning in June. Camps will be run by Fordham University Baseball Coach Mark Stevens and the rest of The Strike Zone staff! Coach Stevens has an extensive resume at the college level and has also worked with over 50 players who have signed professional contracts. Here are the details on the camps: SUMMER BASEBALL CAMPS Where: Madison, CT (either Academy field or Paulson Middle School) What: All camps are M-F and will run from 9 am - 12 pm daily. That's 15 hours of fun and instruction. *Parents will also have the option of having their kids stay for a full day (see below for more info) When: Week 1- June 28th - July 2nd Week 2- July 12th - July 16th Week 3- July 19th - July 23rd Week 4- July 26th - July 30th Week 5- August 2nd - August 6th Cost: $150 for the week (15 hours of instruction for only $10/hour). A portion of the fee will be donated back to MLL. *$275 for full day (your child will be brought back to The Strike Zone in North Branford at the conclusion of the 12 pm camp and will be supervised until 5 pm or whenever you pick him up. Kids will be able to use the batting cages, play in the arcade, watch TV, play dodgeball, Ping Pong, etc. until pick up time) Age: 12 and under (we've had kids as young as 5 in the past) ALL FUNDAMENTALS WILL BE COVERED INCLUDING: HITTING, FIELDING, BASE RUNNING, AND MORE. | Where: Madison, CT (field TBD) When: 3rd week of July - mid August (4 weeks in a row) What: All players will receive a t-shirt and hat, 1 practice/week, and play 2 games on a Saturday or Sunday Total of 8 games Instruction will be provided by Fordham Univ. Coach Mark Stevens and the rest of The Strike Zone staff at every practice and game! All games will be played with wood bats Cost: $215.00 How will teams be picked?? Players who register for the program will be placed on a team by The Strike Zone staff (teams may even change every week).
